Mini Gathering at Pudong International Airport

Well well, Bernard was a lucky guy that got both Yunshuang and me to meet him up at Pudong Airport for his stopover from Qingdao back to Singapore  More coincidence were our presence in Shanghai ! My frens thought we were crazy enough, esp just meeting up at airport and chit chat for that short stopover. Not to mention, we have to travel more than an hour of bus journey to airport. Nevertheless, to us, itz a very rare opportunity. Jus wonder, when will the three of us be sitting there having this shot again ?  And thanks for the treat that he gave us too 
After that brought Yunshuang to join my Shanghai khakis  where we went down to Puxi, arghh came remember the place name already..the streets filled with too many garment pasar malams and shopping centres bombarded with alot of wholesalers. This was where most of the locals like to go too. =)
Subsequently ended the tiring day with a sumptuous steamboat dinner. Guess it was also Yunshuang first time on steamboat and not forgetting, the special soup base we ordered where we got to suck on bones

We introduced Yunshuang and Dawn to our frenzied craving of Brazilian buffet Pretty costly for a decent meal with what we were earning but itz worth it! Still remember we were wandering about the streets looking for the restaurant and we even waited for nearly an hour just for us to get in. Cant remember how long we sat there and munch all the way to the ambience of the band

2nd Day in Wuxi ���ý-Taihu and City
|

Finally got the shots from Yunshuang! It was a special trip to me as I wandered alone to Wuxi to travel around and today was the first time i managed to meet up with Yunshuang and Dawn ever since they stepped into Shanghai. Was telling them the travel plans i would make for the day before but too bad, they wasnt able to catch the earliest train to join me thus some of the places we had to forgo.
Nevertheless few of the must-go places in Wuxi which we went was Taihu. And along the tour journey includes the ferry ride and getting to the Xian Ren Dao (Deities Island). Wow, the stone cravings were impressive. Itz a mini replica of that found Dazu, another of China impressive world cultural heritage!
Went wandering about in the city of Wuxi again and bought their famous Wuxi braised pork ribs ���ý�ý·ç�ï��¹� £¡ Still remembered we were rushing off as the time was ticking real fast. We nearly missed the train. Thanks gosh. It was drizzling then and haiz, my whole bunch of lychees that i bought was thrashed as we ran through the gate gantry.
Nevertheless we got to travel back by the soft-seat train Ã?ÃÃ?ùÃ?Ã?³µ£¬which was again, their first time travelling in such a comfy train. haha. the deprived ones

Wuxi Trip
|

Discovering that our stay in China was going to end soon, we decided to make more plans to venture out of Shanghai. Nevertheless with the rest having no much interest to go on to Wuxi, and having tight budget then, I decided to go ahead with my plan, and travelled to Wuxi alone. 0)
It was a rewarding trip, saw more of Wuxi, and explored most of the must-visit sites in Wuxi. No regrets at all for not staying back in Shanghai instead.
Still remembered I had a good chat on my train to Wuxi with a local couple, which happened to just got back from a flight from Malaysia! The friendly couple kindly introduced me an insight of Wuxi and pointed to my map where I should go and how I should plan! We eventually shared same seats somewhere along the trip..cant imagine if I had to stand throughout my 2 hour plus train. Itz gonna be tiring man
Went to Ling Shan Da Fo, the biggest Buddha statue in China if I didnt remembered wrongly, After which, headed to Nan Chan Si on a local bus and walked through Wuxi city (yah itz that small) looking for a cheap budget hotel for the night.
I managed to get a super cheap stay, almost ard 40rmb if i didnt remember wrongly for a single room with fan n tv. Well, it was public sharing toilet. Gosh, tat was horrible. I can still remember in my head now. But then, for the price, thatz what I should expect

OT Treat by Weiming
|
|
 Weell Weiming giving a dinner treat for those who were still staying in company doing OT then. We had come over to Bi Feng Tang again at Ba Bai Ban ! Goodie food yum yum Supposed to meet my brother and Daniel for dinner, so in the end, both of them joined in too
After which, cant recall why we followed Joan home too. Joan showed us a street which i cant recall the name now and the eateries around her home area!

Final IA Report Submission @ Office

Still remembered both Xiaohui and I were struggling with our final IA report submission then. Worked thru the night and even on Sat. For me, it was really submission on the dot. It was a severe punishment for me, for putting piority of company work ahead of IA report. Well well.. it's history now. 
Treated to a delivery meal then before we headed for nanjing to join the rest !

Having Dinner at Megabite Foodcourt

It was one of the very few days which I was finally out of company during office hours, out of Jin Qiao. Well, of course, I am still on official business though. Together with Tangtao, we spent half the day at Xu Jia Hui, going through the 3 mega computer complexes, hunting for a good network provider that allows us to work on a network project.
It was a very exciting trip for me, asking for a pretty major network project quotation, esp drawing attentions from the network companies, as well as getting doubtful looks on us if we were really going to secure a real business deal after much discussions.
Eventually we still 'OT' , but then again, we 'OT' out of office.

Dinner with Sasayan
|
|
Sasayan brought us and treated us to a Japanese restaurant ! It was supposed to be a treat by the 3 of us, esp for the gals as they were going to shift out from their accomodation since they have been staying with Sasayan and Mr Chong. This restaurant is located just opposite the famous Jin Mao Buidling at Lu Jia Zui.
We didnt understood Sayasan when he said it was suppose to be a buffet meal, but we thought it was an ala-carte meal instead. We actually regretted not having to eat more out of it haha
