Ex Residence @ Zhangyang Lu

Used to be staying near to city at Dongfang Lu e last time i was in Shanghai. Really missed the old area as transport is extremely convienient. It's a transit point for most public buses traversing between Pudong and Puxi. Now even the metro station has been shut down for reconstruction as another main-exchange station

This made my journey for the nearest metro station even further now to Dong Chang Lu. Sigh it needs 45 mins to 1hr of bus journey down from my place now.

Happened to pass by the area as I was looking for a bus that would bring me down to Nanpu bridge. My journey up to Nanpu was eventually unsucessful as the bloody rickshaw whom I hitched later simply dropped me at the foot of the expressway and asked m!e to walk my way up to the bridge, which was simply way ridiculous! And to think he expect me to pay the same amount of money for the return trip, that I just dumped him off the foot of the bridge. Well, of course this made me walk for a very long distance of road subsequently back. Damn!

Twist of fate landed me to Walmart along my journey back while finding a public bus. Havent been to Walmart and had heard so much of it. Apparently, my conclusion - pretty much similar to those mega marts like Carrefour and Lotus though.

The day ended with a super walking marathon. I believed i had walked for more than 1 hour from Walmart to Nanquan Lu to Rushan Lu and back to DongfangLu with my barang barang. To make the matter worse, my direct bus has ended and left with no choice, I had to take another public bus that has its ending point near to my area. Well, it was yet another 45 mins walk back home.

~Super tiring day

Was in Jingan area as I was enquring on ACCA course somewhere nearby.

Finally got to catch Burger King. It is the first in Shanghai if i didnt remembered wrongly. Apparently I did not get to eat the burger as she has ran out of Whopper burger! The selection of burgers arnt alot either to begin with. She's left with only spicy chicken burger and hey I thought, I could buy one at Macdonald also.

In the end, ended up eating a sandwich for the day and looking ard at SOGO (九光) Freshmart..

The art of computer vision I would always put it. Still remembered the days when I was studying the mathematics of how image stitching is done.

It was just too amazing how to determine common pixel patches from auto-correlation to line scanning for comparison. And not forgetting paranomic images after merging have to be stretch or deskewed !

Only today i discovered that in fact, the stitcher program i'm using is also looking at the focus lengths captured in image properties used for merging! Gosh

It was supposed to be Marco farewell KTV session but a pity he couldnt make it for the night. Well, the rest of us went ahead for this session still.

Walking to Qian Gui itself was not easy from People Park's station. Nevermind, our mind were on the buffet dinner we were going to get the moment we were there

As usual, I'm always *off* from the microphone. We spent nearly 4 hours in there ,gorging food ,gulping down drinks and singing away. Time just went pass in a wink of the eye

Caught an evening train from Suzhou to Wuxi yesterday. Damn, the train I got on was 'Normal Speed' (普快)and it took me a long 60mins ride when I can be then in less than 25mins time if I caught on the faster trains.

Sat by a road-side stall near Eric's place and ate plenty of barbeque chicken wings.

As usual, his sis is always so energetic when she sees the camera in front of her!

Another one tied down by the wedding strings!

So thoughtful of Jasmine, she got a transport specially arranged for us from Shanghai to Suzhou, and even return trip.

It was yup another group gathering, this time with a bigger group! Yes, Jasmine does has the calling power.

Feel so paiseh that Sandy's aunt is treating me, for being one of the few main casts showing them Singapore heh. *Those back in Singapore reading this you should be here oops *

Went down to Puxi straight after work. Sharks, I walked the opposite direction and ended up being pretty late for my appointment. So sorry for having the rest waiting for me for the meal.

Well, Sandy choice of SImply Thai @ Dongting lu let me discover another food street there!! The well known Sasha is just right at the road junction.

Really had a very hearty conversation over the dinner with them. And to think that Sandy has left to London for her stewardess training now.

If you are seeing this , wish you a happy and memorable training over at London!
Catch up again when you are back

Too bad didnt take down the facade of the Dynasty restaurant building. It looked superbly grand from the outside but apparently, it was not really that overpriced from what I thought!

Another day of Eric stay @Shanghai and his all-adorable sis just made my camera snapped all the way Gosh, she even had a craving for beer and no one can fool her even if she was fed with a sip of Chinese tea! Impressed!
